Hello there! Thanks for stopping by!
My name is Arvin, a father, a husband, a nurse and a digital entrepreneur in the making.
Financial freedom has always been my goal. I want to do the things I love without worrying about money.
It would be nice if I could travel whenever I want without having to submit a time-off request.
I want to live in a modest home that’s in my name. A duplex or townhouse would be nice.
I’d like to drive my dream car, perhaps a Tesla Model Y or a Ford Mustang. And it would be awesome to run a profitable online business that can support this kind of lifestyle.
As it currently stands, I still owe myself this dream.
I’m beginning to wonder…
Can I still do it?
I’ve been building websites and working in the digital marketing space for over a decade, following every possible internet marketing blog, group, and forum since I learned that making a living online was possible.
While I’ve had some small wins, at 37, I’m reevaluating my journey.
I’ve accumulated significant personal and business debt because of my ego and wishful thinking.
Last June 2022, I sold my very first affiliate website on Empire Flippers for low six figures. I had projected that my next website would share the same success, but we only reached $500/month before running out of budget, falling short of our content publishing milestone.
My team (my wife, my brother, and I) was only able to complete 20% of the 1000 recipes, product reviews, and articles that I initially planned.
We had to return to our 9-5 jobs as the bills kept piling up. For me, the only option was to go back to the nursing field. It’s been a year since I dedicated all my time and effort to studying for the NCLEX, getting licensed, and finding a job.
In hindsight, we shouldn’t have quit our full-time jobs until the business was profitable enough to sustain our needs and support its growth. Plus, we should not have used loans to fund the business. And I will never trust my projections.
At least we learned a valuable lesson. Hopefully this 2025 we’ll be able to clear all those debts and start saving for an emergency fund. Maybe I’ll flip another website. Who knows?
Authorityempire.com will be my story of redemption.
Maybe I failed but I never lost hope.
I still believe in the potential of my ideas.
Now I’m ready to do the grind once again, to hustle for financial freedom and for all the goals that I have set for myself, my business and my family.
Join me as I hustle towards achieving these goals.
I will publish my income and productivity report every month to keep me motivated and maybe you’ll learn a thing or two from my experience.
I’ll see you in the next post.
