TBEX – Travel Bloggers From Around The World Will Trek To Dublin Ireland

TBEX Conference in Dublin Ireland 2013Travel Blogger Exchange Conference (TBEX) – The world’s largest meeting of travel bloggers announced that the host city for its 2013 European conference will be held in Dublin Ireland in October .

According to Rick Calvert, the CEO of TBEX, they are very excited that they chose Dublin. They will be hosting hundreds of travel industry professionals and travel bloggers globally for the two-day event. That will focus on comprehensive educational programming together with engaging networking events. The delegates will share their unique Dublin experiences and discoveries online with the world.

Dublin was chosen because it is the European headquarters for companies like Twitter, Google, Zynga, Facebook and LinkedIn, so it is a thriving hub for social media.

Michael Ring TD, the Minister of State for Tourism, welcomed the announcement today adding that this is a great achievement for Ireland and tourism.

Dave Cynkin, the CMO for TBEX said that Dublin is the perfect location for travel bloggers from around the globe to visit and explore.

Mary Jo Manzanares, the Conference Director for TBEX said that with Dublin’s culture, history, and architecture it provides a backdrop for modern city life.

The goal of the TBEX is to assist travel bloggers in advancing their writing careers as professional travel media, via networking and education with DMO’s travel industry professions. The conference will cover topics on monetizing online content, creating and distributing it and much more. The conference is also focused on travel industry best practices in social media marketing and content.
