Bon Jovi will be bringing their signature rock ‘n’ roll back on the road when they embark on their 2013 world-wide tour. The “Bon Jovi Because We Can – The Tour” will be hitting the road Feb 13.
The band will be kicking off the tour in Montreal Canada just before Valentine’s Day, and from there they will carry on to Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton, and Winnipeg.
American dates will be announced in the coming weeks. Bon Jovi will also be touring Europe, Asia, the Far East, Australia, and Latin America.
The rock band’s return will cap an amazing run which secured Bon Jovi’s status – the essential live rock band – having performed over 2,700 concerts in more than 50 countries for over 35 million fans, and earning the number 1 grossing world-wide tour twice in only three years.
The concert, promoted by AEG live, will debut new songs from the band’s upcoming album “What About Now”, which will be released in the Spring, adding even more ammunition to their huge arsenal of hits that includes “It’s My Life, “Living on a Prayer,” “Who Says You Can’t go Home,” and “You Give Love A Bad Name,” plus many more.
Bon Jovi has sold over 125 million albums. Critics have praised the band’s performances on previous tours. The Las Vegas Sun summed them up as giving until there was nothing left to give. Extraordinary, Electrifying, enthusiastic, exciting and exuberant. The Montreal Gazette reported that there are not many bands that can pull off what they do. And the Star-Ledger called their show “spectacular.”
