Apple’s iPhone 5 Does Battle With Nokia Lumia 920
Now that Apple’s iPhone 5 has been unwrapped, the race is on to compare it to the best smartphones currently out there. It has already been presented how the new release stacks up to older iPhones along with the Samsung Galaxy S III, but for people who are not fans of Android – there is the Nokia Lumia 920.
The Lumia 920 was unveiled by Nokia last week, and it appears to be the cream of the soon to be revealed Windows Phone 8 crop.

DESIGN: The Lumia 920 might be the only smartphone out there that gives the new iPhone a run for its money. It’s made of glossy glass and polycarbonate, and its fun colors, is a flamboyant alternative to the iPhone’s black and white.
SIZE: The iPhone is the winner in this category – at only 4.87 by 2.31 by 0.30 inches and weighing in at 3.95 ounces, while the Lumia 920 is a little heftier at 5.12 by 2.78 by 0.42 inches and 6.52 ounces.
PIXEL RESOLUTION: The iPhone 5 features a 4.0-inch 1,136 x 640 pixel display and is the first iPhone with a display larger than 3.5 inches. Meanwhile, the Lumia 920 has a 4.5-inch screen and 1,280 x 768 pixel resolution.
CHIP: The new iPhone is powered by Apple’s latest A6 chip. While the Lumia 920 is powered by a 1.5-GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 (and it’s super fast).
CAMERA:Apple’s iPhone 5 features an 8-megapixel sensor (but its 40% faster), with improved noise reduction and better low-light performance. The Lumia 920 boasts of an impressive camera, with Nokia’s PureView technology and 8.7-megapixel sensor. According to Nokia, their camera can capture 5 to 10 times the amount of light than any other competing smartphone camera. It has a 1.3 megapixel, front-facing camera with 720 HD video capture.
